With over 38 years of experience in the field of landscape architecture, André Krebs began his career by interning with his master Roberto Burle Marxs, who also guided him to pursue his graduate studies in Spain. André founded Landscape Jardins in the city of Rio de Janeiro, in 1985, with his partner Cláudio Pedalino. In the company’s early years, he worked with the renowned Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer on the CIEP project in the state of Rio de Janeiro and also on the major urbanism and landscaping project on the Rio Orla – transforming the capital of Rio and its more than 38 km of waterfront. André has experience in several types of landscape architecture and remains working as a landscape architect, currently directing Studio Sul.
